Sip & Script Beginners Calligraphy Class
Join Sip & Script for a Night of Learning Calligraphy!
Join us at The Greenhouse in Jacksonville, FL for a pretty lettering workshop for beginners! Whether you’re a stationery nerd, DIY Bride-to-be, or just a crafty individual, in this workshop you’ll be learning an introduction to modern calligraphy with a pointed dip pen and ink. We will cover all the basics and get you ready to add those unique lettered details to your snail mail,
Class includes one drink, 1.5 hours of instruction and demonstration, our beginner’s calligraphy kit (two nibs, black ink pot, 2 letter guides, tracing paper, and straight pen holder), and all materials to write on. Everything is yours to keep at the end of the workshop!
Feel free to come early, grab your seat, and purchase any food (food and drinks are available to purchase throughout class too!). The class will start promptly at 6:30 PM!

Sip & Stroll
Enjoy a stroll along the stunning Southbank Riverwalk every Third Thursday of the month, with beautiful views stretching from Friendship Fountain to Chart House. Take in live music, food trucks and carts, riverside bars, and a relaxed picnic area — all set against a picturesque sunset backdrop.
Alcoholic beverages in branded Sip & Stroll cups are permitted during the event and can be purchased at either of the Riverwalk bars.
Capricorn Wine Tasting

We will be tasting our Capricorn Season wine club wines!
The Sea Goat is the wisdom of the water applied to the rocks of mountain. Ruled by Saturn who is a fierce protector of what he loves and will erect walls (emotional or otherwise) to prevent damage. In that sense, Capricorn is the erection of walls. Think tall, rocky cliffs keeping the crashing watery sea at bay. Think river stones smoothed and shaped by years under running water.
Often misconstrued as hoarders of wealth and borderline patho-logically ambitious, the truth is that Cap will work themselves to dust providing for and protecting their loved ones. The ambition is really a byproduct of the sense of responsibility to their people.
Capricorn season reminds us to return to Earth, to the old ways, to the ground. To celebrate we’ve chosen two of our earthiest signs as a perfect matchup to honor the Earth. Capricorn, the steady, rocky mountain and Taurus, the lush, green valley. Drink up and get your hands on the Earth this month!
