Greenhouse Wedding Functions

Your Wedding

Getting married you need not look further than The Greenhouse Bar. Our function room and conservatory are perfect for a wedding function. We have a complimentary wedding coordinator on hand with over ten years of experience who will run through your needs and offer you ideas to enhance your event without it costing the earth. We have a sample wedding menu for you to view, however each and every wedding is tailored to your personal needs. Very much a bespoke event, with a bespoke menu and wine list, we will send you home with all the ideas and costing and you then tell us how you require it. You are welcome to book a complimentary appointment to discuss your special day and we will put together a package for you to consider. A special day requires our special attention.

 

Sample Wedding Menu

Pate d Champagne of Liver, Bacon and Mushrooms.
Served with granary toast.

Salmon Bisque
served with a crisp, warm, bread roll and butter.

Grilled Goats Cheese Crostini (V)
Served with a beetroot salad.

Whole Roast Rainbow Trout, Stuffed with Fennel, Lemon and Fresh Herbs.
Served with a pomme almandine and prawn bisque sauce.

Morrocan Braised Shank of Lamb
Slow cooked with coriander, apricots, tomatoes and spices with chestnut mashed potatoes.

Roast Supreme of Chicken Wrapped in Bacon
Served with a mustard and white wine veloute sauce and garlic roast potatoes.

Balsamic Roast Field Mushrooms (V)
Stuffed with sun dried tomatoes and mozzarella on a bed of butter wilted spinach.

All main courses served with seasonal vegetables.

Your Wedding

I just wanted to remind you that we are ready for anything you want to bring to us; we don’t only deal with the traditional wedding. We have done many weird and wonderfully fun weddings. If you have a style or theme, or just a personal dream of how you wish your day to be, we will make your dream a reality.


Vegas Wedding

We ordered casino tables and the staff were dressed as dancing girls. The bride wore a sequin silver evening gown with feather head dress. The wedding lunch was gourmet Aberdeen Angus burgers with sun blush tomato relish and hand cut fries. Wedding cake was hand made and was shaped like a dice with white and black roses making the design. The welcoming drink a cosmopolitan. The toast a tequila shot. The entertainment was a live Elvis impersonator and karaoke, with a bit of close up magic to keep everyone mesmerised. It was a wonderful event not a dull moment for anyone.
